Polish Cap Badge

Had a request from someone in OZ.Can anyone help,it`s way before my time


"Are you able to identify this had badge for me?

My Polish father, who was "employed" by the British Army during 1947 - 1948 in the Schleswig-Holstein and Fallingbostel areas of Germany had this badge on his beret.

Appreciate your assistance on this matter.
