New member LIS surgery and fissurectomy yesterday

Hi. I had surgery for LIS and what I believe to be a fissurectomy. My CSR told my parents he needed to cut through some skin to get to the incision site. I had surgery for an abcess and fistula three months ago which caused this fissure. The fissure caused very little pain as long as I used nifedipine.
